She not only wrote vivid stories about her rescues, and encounters, but she actually did rescue them herself, sometimes with help, well into her 70’s…an active animal advocate, trailblazer in the rescue world in Texas, and was a hero to so many other people, inspiring them to get into rescue themselves. Carole Sanders was a “home grown Texan” and proud of it, doing whatever she could to help the helpless, homeless animals that crossed her path. Carole now resides at the Rainbow Bridge, welcoming all of the animals home.
